Additionally, the peroxide level is a mere 7.8 milliequivalents per kilogram, far lower than the 20.0 cutoff for extra virgin status.
Small-Scale Family Farmers: Our olives are grown and harvested in small batches by family farmers in the Messinia region of southern Greece, near the renowned town of Kalamata.
Koroneiki Olives: Our oil is made exclusively from 100 percent Koroneiki olives, known for their high biophenol levels and distinctive ripe olive fruit flavor.
Cold Extraction: We extract our olive oil using cold temperatures, which helps maintain the highest possible nutritional content. Our company name, Threpsi, means "Nutrition" in reference to this commitment.
